Our team’s mission is to engage our congregation with movements seeking to dismantle the racist system of mass incarceration. Specifically, we educate and organize our fellow congregants to take action with:
- The LiveFree Team at POWER: our interfaith justice coalition’s team working on police accountability, mass incarceration, and gun violence
- CADBI (Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration): a group of impacted people and supporters who work to end Life Without Parole/Death By Incarceration sentencing in Pennsylvania
- Participatory Defense Hubs: weekly spaces that bring together community volunteers with people facing criminal charges, to enable them to achieve the best outcome in their cases
