Caring Ministry Team
The Caring Ministry Team provides a supportive presence and outreach to members and friends of First Unitarian of Philadelphia in times of needs and/or joys. We help our congregation connect with and support each other, in various ways, such as coordinating rides, running errands, picking up groceries, phone calls to check in, meals, visits, and much more. If you are in need of assistance please contact the Caring Ministry Team at

Caring Crafters
Inspired by the Catholic tradition of prayer shawls, the members of Caring Crafters create blessed handmade gifts for congregants in times of need (a physical illness, loss of a loved one) or celebration (welcoming a child) to show our love and support. Knitters, crocheters, sewists, visual artists, and crafters of any kind are welcome to join our monthly craft alongs (currently held via zoom).
